A few years ago, Richard Katz, the Executive Chairman of Resource Bank, in the wake of a changing local banking environment, wrote a heartfelt letter to the community outlining what he described as our Rock Principles: Enriching the Lives of Our Clients, Caring For Our Community, and Believing in the American Dream. With more and more community banks being purchased by larger, metropolitan banks, it was important to us to convey to our clients exactly why we were in business. The Rock Principles were the result.
