A few years ago, Richard Katz, the Executive Chairman of Resource Bank, in the wake of a changing local banking environment, wrote a heartfelt letter to the community outlining what he described as our Rock Principles: Enriching the Lives of Our Clients, Caring For Our Community, and Believing in the American Dream. With more and more community banks being purchased by larger, metropolitan banks, it was important to us to convey to our clients exactly why we were in business. The Rock Principles were the result. His letter was just the first of a series of letters from our bank staff, each describing “The Commitment of Resource Bank,” and each a pledge to keep those Rock Principles every day.
In truth, those ideals are nothing new for us. Since our inception in 1901 in the small town of Malta, IL, Resource Bank has served our local communities and built relationships based on trust and individual attention – from people who really care.
We don’t just offer banking services – as one of the last remaining locally-owned banks in the area, we offer a team of experts dedicated to your success and delivering you the exceptional advice and assistance you deserve.
