Fall Festival at Shabbona Lake
Sunday, October 6th, Lake Shabbona
Activity Level 2 - Please join us for a fun day at Lake Shabbona for a Fall Festival Party!  The festivities will begin at 3:00 p.m. and include live music, a pontoon boat ride, and dinner.  Dinner will be served by Pokanoka’s Dockside Café.  Don’t miss the chance to get your fall photo taken there as well.  Transportation is on your own, and payment is due upon registration.  In case of inclement weather, the rain date will be October 12.  The price includes dinner, live music, a pontoon ride, and a photo session.  RSVP by September 10th.  Members & Guests: $45.00

Classics Christmas Concert with Windy City Dueling Pianos

Activity Level 1 - Mark your calendars for the biggest Classics party of the year!
Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of entertainment with the Windy City Dueling Pianos. Experience a high-energy concert featuring live music performed by two talented pianists on dual pianos. Playing off each other in the classic “dueling” style, they are sure to amaze you!  Enjoy a selection of appetizers and drinks served throughout the event. Doors open at 2:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 3:00 p.m. Payment is required at the time of registration, so please RSVP by December 5th.  Members & Guests: $50.00

Activity Level 1 - We’re continuing our tradition of sharing wonderful, hearty, and tasty soups! 
Join us at noon for a fun-filled afternoon of sampling the many delicious soups that you bring.  It’s always a treat to try the variety of flavors everyone has to offer.  If you prefer not to bring soup, please consider bringing a few sandwiches to complement our taste-testing feast.  Desserts, beverages, and table service will be provided.  Doors open at 11:30 a.m.  RSVP by January 10th.  FREE!

Activity Level 1 - Do you make the most delicious chili? Classics Travel Policies

Trip Confirmation Notice

Classics sends out a confirmation reminder notice of payment due date, pickup time and location along with any other information regarding each trip at least two weeks prior to departure date for all trips.

Trip Cancellation Policy for Day Trips

When scheduling day trips, most vendors require full payment when booking the event. We request that full payment for a day trip be made 2 weeks in advance. If you have to cancel a trip and we can fill your space from a waiting list, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel the trip after your payment is made, we will reimburse you when possible.

Trip Cancellation Policy for Extended Trips

Cancellation policies on extended trips are outlined by respective tour companies as stated in their trip brochure. Trip Travel Insurance is always a wise investment when going on extended trips.

Activity Levels

The higher the Activity Level number, the more walking involved. All activities are in the HearthStone Center unless otherwise stated.

Activity Level 1: Very little walking, no stairs.
Activity Level 2: A little walking, possible stairs.
Activity Level 3: Walking, getting on and off the coach, and possible stairs.
Activity Level 4: Walking, getting on and off the coach several times and stairs on the trip.
Activity Level 5: Walking distances which might be on non-flat surfaces, getting on and off the coach multiple times, and stairs.
Activity Level 6: All of the above, including multiple flights of stairs and activities requiring a higher level of stamina.
