Activity Level 1 - Do you make the most delicious chili? Or do you love making others happy by cooking and sharing your best chili?  If so, please join us at one of our scheduled locations for a fun-filled chili-tasting event!  It’s always a real treat to sample the different chili varieties everyone brings.  If you’d rather not bring chili, you can contribute by bringing a few sandwiches, cornbread, or corn chips to complement our taste-testing feast.  Desserts, beverages, and table service will be provided.  Doors open at 11:30 a.m.  Please RSVP by January 28, 2025.  FREE!

Activity Level 1 - Do you love painting or want to explore your creative side? Join us at the Hampshire Branch for a fun and interactive canvas painting workshop! Jennifer Schneck, the talented owner of Bleu Palette in Sycamore, will guide you step-by-step as you create your very own masterpiece to take home. No experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm, and we’ll provide the rest! Herbs, Plants, and Lunch!

Activity Level 1 - Join us at the Kaneville Branch (Gymnasium location) for a delightful hands-on planting experience.  Kate Wiltse, from Wiltse’s Farm, will guide you through the art of crafting the perfect planter for your porch or kitchen window.  Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just getting started, Kate is the perfect expert to answer all your planting questions.  As a bonus, you’ll have the chance to win a beautiful handcrafted herb planter and a selection of herb pots in our exciting raffle!  Attendees will also be treated to delicious lunch boxes prepared by The Lincoln Inn. West Virginia National Parks

Activity Level 6 - Get your National Parks passport ready and join us for a scenic tour of some of the most beautiful National Parks in the United States!  Our adventure begins with a visit to Indiana Dunes National Park. After an overnight stay in Columbus, OH, we will continue our journey to New River Gorge National Park in West Virginia. New River Gorge National Park, established as a National River in 1978 and redesignated as a National Park in 2021, spans over 70,000 acres along the New River.  Next, we welcome you to the luxurious Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia, where we will stay for two nights.  This magnificent resort offers a plethora of activities, including a tour of the Greenbrier Bunker. Classics Travel Policies

Trip Confirmation Notice

Classics sends out a confirmation reminder notice of payment due date, pickup time and location along with any other information regarding each trip at least two weeks prior to departure date for all trips.

Trip Cancellation Policy for Day Trips

When scheduling day trips, most vendors require full payment when booking the event. We request that full payment for a day trip be made 2 weeks in advance. If you have to cancel a trip and we can fill your space from a waiting list, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel the trip after your payment is made, we will reimburse you when possible.

Trip Cancellation Policy for Extended Trips

Cancellation policies on extended trips are outlined by respective tour companies as stated in their trip brochure. Trip Travel Insurance is always a wise investment when going on extended trips.

Activity Levels

The higher the Activity Level number, the more walking involved. All activities are in the HearthStone Center unless otherwise stated.

Activity Level 1: Very little walking, no stairs.
Activity Level 2: A little walking, possible stairs.
Activity Level 3: Walking, getting on and off the coach, and possible stairs.
Activity Level 4: Walking, getting on and off the coach several times and stairs on the trip.
Activity Level 5: Walking distances which might be on non-flat surfaces, getting on and off the coach multiple times, and stairs.
Activity Level 6: All of the above, including multiple flights of stairs and activities requiring a higher level of stamina.
