Kick-Off for Kash Winner
On Friday, October 25th, Heidi Kissamis was presented a giant check from Resource Bank, N.A. in the amount of $10,000 for winning the Kickoff for Kash at Hiawatha High School. Kissamis won Resource Bank’s Kickoff for Kash on Friday, October 11th when she purchased a one-dollar ticket for the event, and Hiawatha’s Tim Pruitt returned the second half opening kickoff for a touchdown.
Resource Bank has been sponsoring the Kick-Off for Kash program since 2007 as a way to support local high school programs. Organizations at Hiawatha High School, Sycamore High School, DeKalb High School, Genoa-Kingston High School, Kaneland High School, and Hampshire High School retain all proceeds from ticket sales for their program needs. Each school offers tickets for purchase at their home games, and the winning ticket is drawn that night. The raffle ticket winner is announced before the kick-off. If that person is present and the home team returns the half-opening receiving kick for a touchdown, the ticket winner receives the grand prize of $10,000, provided by Resource Bank!
Football season will soon be over, but another Resource Bank sports program will be running as well - the Shoot for the Loot, a similar program that benefits local high schools during their basketball season! For more information, contact Resource Bank at 815-756-6321.
